International Medical Graduates

The Department of Health Human Services has contracted the Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Tasmania to develop and implement programs for the education and training of overseas trained medical staff, in particular, with preparation for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Exams.

The Overseas Trained Doctors Program within the Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Tasmania has been contracted by the Department of Health and Human Services to develop and implement a new process that assesses OTDs communication and clinical skills prior to appointment and provide newly arrived OTDs with appropriate orientation and educational support
